Padsicles

Padsicles (think pad + popsicle) are essentially frozen sanitary pads and postpartum, they are amazing. The pad part helps with lochia (postpartum bleeding) and the rest encourages the healing process through pain relief, reducing inflammation and soothing swollen tissue.

Ingredients:
1.) Giant pads such as Covidien Materinity Pads
2.) Witch Hazel
3.) Aloe Vera
4.) Optional Lavender oil such as doTerra
Instructions:
1.) Partially unwrap your pads without detaching the wrapper
2.) Generously spread aloe vera all over the pads
3.) Pour about a teaspoon of witch hazel down the middle followed by a few drops of oil if using
4.) Fold your pads back up in their wrappers then place in a gallon sized ziploc bag
5.) Store in the freezer until ready to use
